Catch up with Clooney On Demand

ER pilot movie, Sarah Connor Chronicles and brand new Private Practice exclusively on Virgin Media TV On Demand

For those who just can’t wait for next year’s final season of the groundbreaking hospital drama ER, gorgeous George Clooney will be returning to the small screen this summer as the ER pilot movie premieres from July on Warner TV on Virgin Media On Demand. All Virgin Media customers will be able to watch the pilot movie through Warner TV on Virgin Media On Demand or through Virgin Central on Channel 119.

Other exclusives on Virgin Media TV On Demand this month include the exciting brand new Grey’s Anatomy spin-off Private Practice and the hugely successful Sarah Connor Chronicles. Plus Warner TV on Virgin Media will also be offering the chance to catch up on some of the funniest sitcoms from across the pond – including Two and a Half Men and Joey. Also joining Virgin Media On Demand this month is HBO’s hilarious fly-on-the-wall comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm.

This month’s highlights on Virgin Media On Demand feature:

ER (Original Pilot)
Filmed in 1994, the ER pilot was scripted by Jurassic Park novelist Michael Crichton. The pilot movie kicked off what has become NBC’s second longest running drama (after Law & Order). The show, which is due to run its 15th and final season in 2009, has won numerous awards including several Emmy and Golden Globe awards and helped to make George Clooney a Hollywood superstar.

Private Practice
Another exclusive on Virgin Media On Demand this month is a first look at brand new Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, Private Practice. The series will air from 15th July on LIVING; however Virgin Media customers can catch a sneaky peak at a prequel to the new series from 1st July on Virgin Central. ‘Episode Zero’ is a special episode portraying the funny, sad and bittersweet experiences of Dr Addison Montgomery at Seattle Grace Hospital, as she considers her move to LA where Private Practice is set.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
Sci-fi fans who missed out on Virgin1’s Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles earlier this year will be able to catch up with the show on Warner TV on Virgin Media this July. The action packed Terminator spin-off follows the lives of Sarah and John Connor, picking up where Terminator 2: Judgement Day finished, and stars British actress Lena Headey in the lead role. Virgin Media customers can catch the exhilarating opening episodes on Virgin Central (Channel 119) throughout July.

Two and a Half Men
Also on Warner TV on Virgin Media this month is Emmy award winning and Golden Globe nominated Two and a Half Men, starring Charlie Sheen as an affluent bachelor whose hedonistic lifestyle is interrupted when his newly separated brother moves in with his young son.

Joey
New episodes of Friends spin-off Joey also join Warner TV on Virgin Media this month, starring Matt LeBlanc as actor and womaniser Joey Tribbiani. Virgin Media customers can catch up with Joey in his new home of Los Angeles as he works on his acting career… and his chat up lines.

Curb Your Enthusiasm
Another hit US show on demand this month is Curb Your Enthusiasm from HBO, starring Seinfeld co-creator Larry David. David plays himself in an unsparing, fly-on-the-wall depiction of his life that has been called, “the funniest of the funny on television today.” Featuring real-life celebrities playing themselves, the episodes are improvised by the actors from storylines by David.

Malcolm Wall, chief executive of content at Virgin Media, said: “With nearly half our customer base enjoying TV on demand each month, our goal is to continue leading the on demand revolution with the most diverse range of quality TV possible. Our service provides an extensive library of the best TV, music and film content available, and this month is a real treat with some of the best comedy and drama from the US, particularly for fans of shows such as ER, Sarah Connor Chronicles and Grey’s Anatomy”
